Serpentine has presented pioneering contemporary art since 1970. From the Pavilion to our exhibitions, we champion new ideas in art and architecture. Serpentine hosts a free programme of exhibitions, architecture, education, and live events. Our programme takes place across our Galleries and online. Access to the galleries is free for all visitors. Thanks to our unique location, we reach a broad audience. We maintain a deep connection with our local community. We are a UK registered charity and receive 5% of our annual income from governmental support from Arts Council England, with the remaining 95% generated from individual donors, corporate supporters, charitable trusts and earned income. This support is vital to sustaining Serpentine’s artistic community.
