Thousands of second-hand books still line the walls of this cosy café. The Used Book Café, a small institution nestled around Merci's cobbled courtyard, is a Parisian icon. Whether it's fine weather or autumnal rain, we love going here. From comforting chai to gourmet avocado toast, boiled egg and mouillettes, not forgetting must-tries like chocolate fondant and Basque cheesecake, everything is delicious. Whether for a leisurely breakfast, a tasty lunch, a coffee break between two appointments or a post-holiday snack with friends, Used Book Café is the perfect address. It attracts many regulars from the neighborhood, Paris and beyond, as well as international visitors, whether for a catch-up, a first meeting, a debriefing with friends, or a parent-child tête-à-tête.
