Café Maa is the ideal place to discover Finnish gastronomy in the heart of Paris. The name Maa means earth in Finnish and symbolises our close and humble relationship with the earth. Café Maa strives to promote sustainable gastronomy and Finnish culinary expertise through a seasonal approach and the consistent use of fresh, local, and organic products. Café Maa offers a programme of culinary events changing with the season and Institut finlandais’ cultural programme. Institut finlandais is an independent and multidisciplinary cultural institute between Finland and France. We present modern gastronomy, design and visual arts in the heart of the Quartier Latin in Paris.

The Finnish Institute and Café Maa are open Tuesday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Summer closure from August 3 to September 4, 2025.
