Located near the Gare de Lyon, in a former postal sorting hall belonging to the SNCF, it is a 6500m² space where people meet, where ideas are brewing, where new solutions can appear. A place of experimentation and expression, culture, the planet, solidarity, the actors of change are the privileged subjects. We approach them in many ways with various guests, artists, researchers, entrepreneurs, ... able to move us forward, together. We like to nurture a certain approach to conviviality that involves eating well, partying but also meetings in the real world around a cafe, at the foot of an olive tree, in front of an exhibition or in the cockpit of an airplane. Since 2014, the Ground Control project has been walking and being built with you (resee the 6th anniversary in 2019), around multiple, concrete and anchored experiences. It is a project that, if it puts utopias in the spotlight, is nevertheless very real; its goal is to imagine places to live together. In town for now, maybe somewhere else tomorrow. The name Ground Control refers to David Bowie of course, a tribute to the pop rock artist chameleon who blew up so many stereotypes, it is also a way of calling for re-contact with the earth... the earth in all its dimensions time space the seasons, etc.
