Over a decade ago, J. established Madhouse Motors, a motorcycle repair shop specializing in antique and custom machines. Since its founding, J. has emerged as one of the world’s leading motorcycle builders and designers. A graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art & Design, J. designs and builds motorcycles that often break stereotypical motorcycle molds. Her builds challenge viewers to consider these machines not just as vehicles with an enhanced road performance, but as works of art. Over the past ten years, J. and the company have made international headlines and have gained a substantial amount of recognition for their work. For those not in the know, J. is J. SHIA is an internationally recognized and award-winning custom motorcycle builder from Boston, MA.

Need To Know/Community Rules

Our sister company. We share a building, an owner, and a community. Madhouse Motors has been our biggest supporter. When our espresso machine acts up, we grab a mechanic to help us fix it. When they need coffee, we often hand deliver it to their oil covered hands. Its a beautiful and wholesome partnership, and we’ll always live under the same roof of this Madhouse.
