Through Jamestown’s thoughtful stewardship, The Innovation and Design Building (IDB) has transformed from its 1918 origin as an Army storehouse into a hub of Boston’s innovation economy. Since Jamestown’s acquisition, numerous enhancements have been made to the building which help IDB businesses recruit top talent. In 2021, Jamestown entered into a partnership with Related Beal. Now housing everything from marine industrial firms and tech startups to the Boston Design Center, the team behind IDB is focused on bolstering life science lab space.
